Franz Bakery, a 100+ year-old bakery based out of Portland, Ore., has launched a new USDA certified organic bread line under a new division of the company, Green Earth Baking.

Green Earth Baking is the first eco-friendly bread company in the Northwest that not only produces bread with all natural ingredients, but does so in a way that uses eco-friendly business practices from the time the grains are harvested through delivery to the customer. The creation of Green Earth Baking is a seamless partnership for Franz Family Bakeries who, for nearly 30 years, have been incorporating sustainable practices into its daily operations.
