The End of Trash
I love the idea of the zero trash movement - not just reducing waste, but eliminating it. Great article here by the NY Times. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/20/science/earth/20trash.html?hp Register to Join the Conversation |

BioDegradable Bags
thestoop - we too love the idea of zero trash movement that's why we have biodegradable bags for all of our products. The bags decompose in about 75days when they are exposed to sunlight and oxygen. Be sure to check our 'our practices' section to learn how we are not only try to reduce waste but striving for zero! Also, we are dedicated to making sure that our production waste is recycled and used in another capacity. Love the feedback ...keep it coming! |

Global Warming
Global warming has become perhaps the most complicated issue facing world leaders. On the one hand, warnings from the scientific community are becoming louder, as an increasing body of science points to rising dangers from the ongoing buildup of human-related greenhouse gases — produced mainly by the burning of fossil fuels and forests. On the other, the technological, economic and political issues that have to be resolved before a concerted worldwide effort to reduce emissions can begin have gotten no simpler, particularly in the face of a global economic slowdown. |
